I'm shooting for the moon this June

Every week, 500 people across Aotearoa find out that they have cancer. This means that during our lifetimes most of us will experience cancer personally or have a loved one go through cancer.

I'm aiming to shoot 384 goals this June, raising funds to help support people with cancer across the Canterbury-West Coast region.

Day 29

Thursday 29th Jun
Netball training then helped at Amilees training. Put 20 shots up to finish my total. 394 shots. 

Day 25, Selwyn U16 development tournament

Great day out playing for Selwyn, unfortunately played WA all day so no chance to increase the shot numbers.

Day 24 game v Banks Peninsular

Saturday 24th Jun
Close game today won by 1 goal! 
Gusty wind didn’t help the shot count! 
Played WA in first half then GA in second half. 

17/6 game v southbridge

Saturday 17th Jun
No chance to get any goals today as we were short in defence. So Alyssa put her hand up to play GD. Cold rainy day but had a big win.

Day 14

Wednesday 14th Jun
Not a great game v Hillmorton. 7 shots in and quite a few misses argh!! 
5 shots warming up so total is 202

Game v broadfield 10/6

Tuesday 13th Jun
8 shots in game and 12 to warm up Won the game by 2 goals! Total 190 shots so far!

Day 7 game v Riccarton high school

Wednesday 7th Jun
18 shots in the game, 12 to warm up so 30 added to the total! 
70 shots after 7 days!

Started the June challenge with 20 shots in at netball training.
